The Cottage
A delightful cottage with UK satellite TV and WiFi situated in the French countryside and yet only 3 km from Thivers and St-Jean de Cole. A peaceful little haven to relax and unwind. Very bright and cool with tiled or laminated floors. Large French windows with an electric shutter lead onto the back terrace with lovely views of the valley, a delightful spot for breakfast or dinner at Sunset.
Nearby there are lakes with sandy beaches for swimming and canoeing. There are also some lovely countryside walks through the surrounding forest areas.
AMENITIES
Free Wifi
There is a dedicated WiFi point in the cottage which covers all the rooms and the terrace outside.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with all appliances, coffee maker, teapot, toaster and crockery & cutlery.
Garden
The cottage is surrounded by open fields and grassland. We have also planted our own flowers and trees.
Bedrooms
Both bedrooms have double beds with fresh linen and Summer duvets. Extra pillows are provided.
Pool
The pool is salt water and 10 metres long. In the Summer it can reach 28 - 30 degrees.
Bathroom
The family bathroom has a bath and shower. All towels are provided fresh upon your arrival.
Washing
In the utility room there is a Samsung eco-bubble washing machine with pegs for the outside line.

Bicycle Hire
We have a local cycle hire company who will provide a drop off and pick up service for the cottage.
Swimming Lakes
There are many lakes in the area with sandy beaches, snack bars and sunbeds
Chateaux & Villages
The area has many beautiful Chateaux and Beaux Villages to visit and enjoy
Canoeing
Many of the lakes provide canoes and many of the riverside villages have canoes to hire.
Monkey World
Wander along pathways surrounded by many different monkey species in their natural element.
Horse Riding
There are many equestrian centres which provide riding lessons and horses to hire for the day.
